MLA Canada — innovators in the way people experience and consume real estate partner with World Housing.
World Housing’s newest partnership with MLA Canada was announced at their 3rd Annual Rocket Awards event in June. This values-driven organization led by Cam McNeill and Ryan LaLonde have brought together their entire team to raise funds to build 10 homes this year. Agents of Change program launches globally at GNE 2019
This past May at the General National Exhibition, we officially launched the Agents of Change program with our partners New Story Charity. We are excited to offer this exclusive program to the entire network of 23,000 Sotheby’s International Realty Agents. The Walls Family joins the World Housing Family of Ambassadors.
Living in the foothills of Calgary in their exclusive Terre Blanche Estate Richard and Carolina Walls learned of World Housing’s work. After researching and developing a greater understanding of our mission to end global homelessness, they were compelled to share their family’s good fortune with families living in absolute poverty. S & P Real Estate throws down a team challenge to build homes
Innovators in the real estate marketing industry S & P Real Estate have big hearts and are committed to transforming lives through the gifting of homes. On a recent company-wide call, Co-Founder Sid Landolt organized his people into Team Canada and Team USA with the goal to build one home each. Richard Bell propels the growth of World Housing’s Ambassador program
Richard Bell of Bell Alliance developed the NexGen Forward giving group — a group of passionate business leaders who believe that a home is the best way to impact the next generation in developing countries. Richard continues to tirelessly support our work and has introduced World Housing to three new Ambassadors this year. More to come on these new partnerships in the next update. Taylor Conroy rallies his networks to fund 30 homes in Mexico.
333 Impact Inc. and The Idea Collective are both owned by Taylor Conroy, who along with his network have partnered with World Housing to raise funds to build homes in Mexico in November 2019. The Idea Collective is a company that helps people to become speakers on the world’s biggest stages. 333 Impact Inc. is a social enterprise that helps people raise money for charity and go on impact adventures. Michelle Yu expands her real estate business and her work with World Housing.
The Michelle Yu Personal Real Estate Team pledges to donate the entire commission of one home sale every year to World Housing! Michelle is now expanding her business through the purchase of her Remax franchise. Her plan for growth includes the integration of her work with World Housing and will provide the opportunity for her team of Realtors to also donate from their home sales. REX Homes provide another 3 families with safety & security of a home.
REX Homes sets aside a portion of all income from selling homes to fund homes for families in dire need. It is their mission to contribute one home for every 50 homes sold. The entire REX team is committed to providing innovative ways for their clients to buy and sell real estate which also helps fund World Housing communities. Communities Under Development
World Housing partners with local building organizations who have strong ties to the community as well as proven experience. Working with our partners we provide critical community services like education, healthcare as well as connections to the local electric and hydro grid. Together we’re able to multiply our impact for these families to build not only homes but sustainable communities.

Morelos, Mexico

New Home Designs & Communities
Nuevo Cuscatlan II, El Salvador
The newest community being built with our partners New Story is a 120–180 home master-planned community, equipped with running water, electricity and shared community spaces. The two-story homes are designed for larger families and to utilize less land footprint to build. They total 60 sq. m. and include two upstairs bedrooms with an additional bedroom on the bottom floor. We are currently looking for partners to fund these homes at a cost of $11,043 CAD per home. World’s First 3D Printed Home Community
New Story Charity is our building partner in Mexico, El Salvador and Haiti. Like World Housing, New Story is a 100% organization that’s committed to operational excellence. New Story along with ICON Technologies have spearheaded the new 3D Printed Home community that World Housing donors have helped to fund in 2019. We’re looking forward to the early fall to showcase this revolutionary community. We will continue to provide updates as construction progresses.

Our ‘Founders’ fund the operating costs of the organization, which enables us to maintain our 100% Promise. It also enables World Housing to create innovative and high impact ways to raise the critical funds needed to provide homes to families.
