Over the past 10 years, we have provided over 650 homes to families in Cambodia and have just completed our latest community of 33 homes. On November 1, 2024, we are excited to be travelling to Phnom Penh with 20 World Housing representatives including board and team members, and ambassadors and donors who have donated over the years to build these homes. Our purpose will be to cut the ribbon to officially open the doors to Lenkov Village, as well as to celebrate our 10th Anniversary with our partners, Cambodian Children’s Fund.
Our donors have contributed generously over the years to create this amazing impact — housing over 3,500 people in communities like these, and so it is exciting to make this trip together to Cambodia to see what we’ve accomplished and share this incredible occasion!
This ‘gifting trip’ is an exclusive opportunity for our World Housing donors that allows us to view the villages you’ve built on an exclusive tour with Scott Neeson, founder of the Cambodian Children’s Fund. We will visit the World Housing communities and the Neeson-Cripps Academy school and meet the families that have been impacted over the last 10 years.
While World Housing celebrates its 10th Anniversary, Cambodian Children’s Fund celebrates its 20th Anniversary. Scott has been World Housing’s inspiration and impact partner since the beginning, so it is especially poignant to share this experience with him where it all began.
The gifting trip will be held from October 30th – November 2nd with the main ceremony on November 1st.
