We are pleased to announce Echo Bay Vineyard as World Housing’s first official Wine Ambassador! Situated in BC’s beautiful Okanagan, Echo Bay has been a family gathering place for 5 generations. It is currently operated by Kelsey Rufiange, the grand-daughter of Echo Bay’s founders, Al and Nella Kenyon.
Echo Bay is easily recognized by the beautiful and unique label and the individual hand-dipped bottle that seals it in golden wax. When we approached Kelsey at Echo Bay she, without hesitation, stepped up and supported World Housing’s inaugural ‘House Party’ with a generous wine donation of their top-tiered wine.

Echo Bay has committed to continue supporting us by donating a portion of every bottle sold through their wine club. This unique giving structure allows you to enjoy home-grown, minimal intervention wine while helping provide safe and secure housing to families in need. We encourage you to discover this incredible family-run winery that’s committed to giving back. When you join Echo Bay’s wine club you will get:
- Access to small lot wines (Cabernet Franc ‘0’ and Nella sold exclusively through Wine Club)
- Access to future library releases
- Free shipping for club pack
- Pairing recipes and a sample of Echo Bay coffee
- Choice of 4, 6, and 12 bottle offerings
- Shipped out mid-November, 2020

Not only does the quality of wine in the bottle set Echo Bay apart from others, but the unique assortment of symbols displayed on the label also contributes to the elevated wine experience. The symbols they showcase come from synoptic weather charts, where each symbol identifies a state or change in weather conditions.
Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon along with smaller quantities of Malbec, Carmenère, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese, were planted on the 5-acre family vineyard with the first vintage released in 2015.
We are extremely excited for this incredible opportunity to partner with Echo Bay Vineyard, and welcome them to the World Housing family as we celebrate their commitment to giving back to families in need through every vintage bottled.
